The secret diary of Adrian Mole

Actually, when my teacher told me to read this book, I thought that it's going to be a piece of cake(and it was). This book was about a 13 year old boy's life. The main character Adrian wrote a diary of his everyday life and most of it was about his family and school life of course. Also, as he is a boy, he was into girls and his little thingy. As i went on reading the book, just like other students have told me, it was a little unapporporiate for us.
Altough it was talking about what our age students like to talk about, it's our men secret kind of thing. It was a little shame on the teachers that they've chosen this book for our education. Now back to the stories. Well he always talks about his mom and dad in an 13year old boy's view. He thinks that his mom cheating on another man isn't real problem. He just thinks that the man is pretty kind to his family and nothing more. He measures his dick often and marks his size on a piece of paper. I saw the drama "the secret diary of adrian mole" and this part was actually really awful to see. I thought if the girls saw this movie to get a better understnading of the story, They would be really shamed of themselves for even thinking about watching the drama.
I don't really have much to talk about this book but just one thing. It was embarrising for me and i believe it was same for other student becaus there were too many indecent subjects that Adrian talked about. My point is that i don't know why our selected, gifted and talented teachers have decided to assign us this kind of book. Sorry for our teachers but this was the first time that i was disappointed at any of our teachers.

Sorry for getting this in late.

I've read this book before i got to hear from my english teacher that we had to read it for our assignment. However, I couldn't really remember what it was about, so i got to read it again. As i continued reading this book, I started to find out how i felt when i read it for the first time. Also, i could compare the feelings with the current ones.
I i first got to read this book, i was in Canada. My homestay brother assisted me to read this book and i told him that it looks boring. However, he kind of forced me to read it. The first chapter that was introducing and trying to show the background was really boring to me, but as i got to read the book continueously, it was touching.
I felt as same during my second read in BIHS (Well it came to me a little closer though). The part where Morrie says that he feels really happy not only when people do a huge favor to him but also when they do something really small but touching. The part really got into my eyes because I had the same feeling during my comparably short life. When i was in middle school, i used to get a little more chocolates than others in the school during the valentines day(yes, i am bragging a little). Well, that didn't really felt really romantic or something. In the contrast, when i started dating my lover in this school, I didn't really get much of a chocolate or pockies that i used to get. But the time when my girlfriend gave me one of those, it felt like heaven. Although i only got chocolates from my girlfriend, it felt much better than getting tons.
This book has remined me of many things such as love, voluntary spirits,,,and so on.
I would like to recommend this book to anyone who's depressed and thing they don't have anything intereting to do in there life.
